April/May Updates

The month has definitely flown by!

We've had a lot going on lately with preparing for our wedding. My sister threw a gorgeous shower for me and I truly felt loved by my friends and family!

Obviously Alfred enjoyed getting presents, though not in the same way as me.

At the same time, we've seen almost a month straight of rain! At the rate we're going, we're set to have the wettest month since 1921. We live in tornado alley so its likely that we see several severe storms each year. We've already had two come through and let me tell you, hiding in a small closet with three cats and a dog is not as fun as it sounds (because I'm well aware that it sounds like uber fun).

Our garden didn't take too much of a hit. In fact, its seemed to prosper even more!

Potatoes are popping up and ready to be covered! These were pictures from both April and May. Look at the difference in growth!
